On the
contents page there aren’t many images, but it does include a cassette tape
with a pink rainbow emerging from in leading in to raindrops possibly
signifying that there will be good times and bad, and it is alternative so
appeals to the targeted modern teen. Because the cassette tape has no colour it
can represent the individuality that grows for each student which is the pink
outburst. The pink can give the impression that the magazine is produced by an
all-girls school as stereotypically, it is a colour targeted for females.
The
colouring of the font varies so that it makes the eye more drawn to the
different titles and make them clear of the different segments. The recycle logo in the bottom right corner shows that the school cares for the environment and wants members of the community to recognise and to join in. I will use this in my own magazine contents page by using a different colour font for each titles of the articles.
